About SweepsRanked

Independent rankings for 55+ sweepstakes casinos

Our Mission

SweepsRanked exists for one reason: to give players an honest, data-driven picture of the sweepstakes casino landscape. No casino pays us to rank them higher. No sponsorship influences the order. Every ranking is computed algorithmically from publicly available data and verified metrics.

The sweepstakes casino space is growing fast, and most "review" sites are just affiliate pages dressed up as editorial. We built SweepsRanked because we wanted rankings we could actually trust — so we made them ourselves and opened the methodology for everyone to see.

Independence & Disclosure

Our rankings are generated by an automated pipeline that runs every 5 days. The system scrapes live Trustpilot scores, computes a composite score across 10 weighted dimensions, and sorts all casinos from best to worst. No human hand-tweaks the order.

Affiliate Disclosure: This site contains referral links. If you sign up through our links, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This revenue helps keep the site running but has zero effect on rankings. The algorithm does not know which casinos we have referral agreements with.

We believe transparency is the baseline, not a feature. If a casino scores poorly on Trustpilot or has slow payouts, it ranks lower — full stop. Our affiliate relationships do not and cannot override the data.

Who We Are

SweepsRanked is maintained by The Sweeps Rankings Team — a small group of data analysts and sweepstakes casino players who got tired of unreliable review sites. We combine hands-on experience with every casino on our list with a technical background in data scraping, scoring algorithms, and web development.

Between us, we've tested sign-up flows, redeemed Sweeps Coins, timed payouts, and evaluated bonus structures at every casino we rank. We don't list a casino unless we've verified its core claims firsthand.

Ranking Methodology

Every casino on SweepsRanked is scored across 10 weighted dimensions. Each dimension is parsed from real data — Trustpilot scores, sign-up pages, terms and conditions, and verified payout reports. The composite score determines the rank, and the rank determines the tier.

Trustpilot Score

20%

Real user reviews scraped directly from Trustpilot. We pull the precise decimal score from the site's data layer, not the rounded display number.

Welcome Offer Value

15%

The Sweeps Coins-per-dollar ratio of each casino's first-purchase offer. Higher SC/$ means better bang for your first buy.

Free Signup Reward

10%

How many Sweeps Coins you get just for creating an account, no purchase required. Free entry is a cornerstone of sweepstakes law.

Daily Bonus Quality

10%

The value and consistency of daily free coin drops. Casinos with progressive login rewards or generous daily claims score higher.

Game Count

10%

Total number of verified games in each casino's library. More games means more variety for players.

Redemption Speed

10%

How fast you can cash out your Sweeps Coins for real prizes. Measured from redemption request to funds received.

Referral Program

10%

The value and structure of each casino's refer-a-friend program. Ongoing commissions rank higher than one-time bonuses.

Min SC Redemption

5%

The minimum Sweeps Coins balance needed to cash out. Lower thresholds are better for players.

Min Purchase Price

5%

The lowest coin package price available. Lower entry points make casinos more accessible.

Crypto Support

5%

Whether the casino supports cryptocurrency for purchases and/or redemptions. Crypto payouts are often faster.

Tier System

After scoring, casinos are sorted by composite score and split into four tiers. Tiers give you a quick visual read on quality without needing to compare individual numbers.

T1 Top performers — excellent across all metrics. The casinos most worth your time.
T2 Solid picks — strong overall, a step behind on one or two dimensions.
T3 Worth a look — decent options but expect trade-offs in key areas.
T4 Proceed with caution — low trust scores, missing data, or slow payouts.

How the Data Pipeline Works

Our automated system runs on a 5-day cycle. Here's what happens each run:

  1. Scrape — Live Trustpilot scores are pulled for every casino using the site's structured data (not the rounded display number).
  2. Validate — Range checks flag suspicious data. Large deltas from the previous run are held for manual review.
  3. Score — 13 parsers process human-formatted cell data across all 10 dimensions. Each dimension gets a normalized 0-100 score.
  4. Rank — Weighted composite scores are computed and casinos are sorted. Tier assignments follow automatically.
  5. Publish — Updated data is written to the source sheet, change logs are recorded, and the site rebuilds with fresh numbers.
