Our Mission

SweepsRanked exists for one reason: to give players an honest, data-driven picture of the sweepstakes casino landscape. No casino pays us to rank them higher. No sponsorship influences the order. Every ranking is computed algorithmically from publicly available data and verified metrics.

The sweepstakes casino space is growing fast, and most "review" sites are just affiliate pages dressed up as editorial. We built SweepsRanked because we wanted rankings we could actually trust — so we made them ourselves and opened the methodology for everyone to see.

Our rankings are generated by an automated pipeline that runs every 5 days. The system scrapes live Trustpilot scores, computes a composite score across 12 weighted dimensions, and sorts all casinos from best to worst. No human hand-tweaks the order.

Several operators run multiple near-identical brands on the same platform. To stop one company from filling the top spots with clones of the same casino, one of our scored dimensions is a uniqueness rating: a standalone casino rates highest, and each additional brand in an operator's network rates lower. The strongest brand from any operator still ranks high on its other merits — you just won't see five versions of it stacked at the top.

How the Data Pipeline Works

Our automated system runs on a 5-day cycle. Here's what happens each run:

  1. Scrape — Live Trustpilot scores are pulled for every casino using the site's structured data (not the rounded display number).
  2. Validate — Range checks flag suspicious data. Large deltas from the previous run are held for manual review.
  3. Score — 14 parsers process human-formatted cell data across all 12 dimensions. Each dimension gets a normalized 0-100 score.
  4. Rank — Weighted composite scores are computed and casinos are sorted. Tier assignments follow automatically.
  5. Publish — Updated data is written to the source sheet, change logs are recorded, and the site rebuilds with fresh numbers.
